Adobe and Microsoft License Maintenance

Departmental purchases of Adobe and Microsoft product licenses may be altered by a departmental approver as detailed below.  Questions about who may maintain departmental licenses should be directed to the Service Desk.

  • Departmental users can make the following changes to individual Adobe licenses:
    • Transfer an Individual License
    • Undo a future transfer
    • Revoke an individual’s access by changing a license end date
    • Change the billing number to be used for the next license period
    • Prevent the license from automatically renewing
       
  • Departmental users can make the following changes to Adobe shared device licenses and MS Storage licenses:
    • Change the billing number to be used for the next license period
    • Change the number of licenses that will automatically renew at the end of the current license period

 

  1. To begin, users should access myState using a valid NetID and NetPassword.
  2. Under Apps & Services, click Banner.



     
  3. Click Employees.


     
  4. Under Administrative Users, click Adobe and Microsoft License Maintenance.


     
  5. Choose an option from the License Type menu.
    1. Adobe Individual (for an Adobe individual license)
    2. Adobe Shared (for an Adobe shared device license)
    3. MS Storage (for a Microsoft Storage license)
       

     
  6. Click View Results.
  7. Refer to the instructions on the page for each type of edit.
  8. Note: The licenses listed have been billed to the user’s Departmental ITS Main Billing Number during the current license period.
