Faculty and Staff can update their email address and phone number for the directory via myBanner.
Steps to update your email address and phone number for the directory via myState.
- Log in to my.msstate.edu.
- Under Apps & Services, click Banner.
- Click Personal Information.
- Click Update your Directory & Address Information.
- Click the Edit link in the upper right hand corner of the Directory Information.
- Make the updates, then click Save.

- Go to mybanner.msstate.edu then log in by clicking the Login to myBanner button.
- Click on Personal Information.
- Click Update your Directory & Address Information.
- Click the Edit link in the upper right hand corner of the Directory Information.
- Make the updates, then click Save.
NOTE: To request a change to a Campus Mail Stop or Office Location in the directory, a request must be put in to the person responsible for keying Payroll in that Faculty or Staff member's department. They will then contact HRM to make the change.
