Azure for Students (previously known as Azure Dev Tools for Teaching) is available for currently-enrolled MSU students and allows students access to a variety of Azure products and developer tools. Licenses are only valid as long as the student is enrolled at MSU.
Jump to:
1. Visit the Azure for Students offer page, then click Start free.

2. Log in with your netid@msstate.edu and your NetPassword. Authenticate with Duo, when prompted.


3. Once your account is verified, fill out your profile information, then click Sign up.

4. Once the sign up process completes, you'll be redirected to the Microsoft Azure Education | Overview page. Refer to the next section for information on accessing available software/tools.
1. Go to the Microsoft Azure portal, expand the Learning resources section in the left navigation menu, then click Software.

2. All of the software/tools available for student use will be listed. Select a specific product for information on how to download/license it.
3. If you need assistance using Microsoft Azure for Students and/or downloading software, expand the Need Help? section in the left navigation menu, then click the Support link.
