Effective September 2025, MSU is rolling out campus wide training in Canvas. These trainings will be rolled out in phases and the first three are currently available. The population for the trainings are listed below:
- MSU Active Active Attacker Training - All MSU employees, regardless of full time, part time, benefits status, etc. Includes grad students and student workers.
- MSU Clery CSA Training - Limited employees based on job duties and status as a student organization adviser.
- Policy Acknowledgement - All MSU employees, regardless of full time, part time, benefits status, etc. Includes grad students.

- Login to my.msstate.edu. On the main page is a training card, any of the trainings that are required for your position, will be listed on the card. Under Training , click on the training title to enter the course.

- Must be completed yearly
- Passing grade is 80%
- MSU Clery CSA Training
- Must be completed yearly
- Passing grade is 100%

- Go to the course in Canvas and click on the Grades option from the left menu bar.

- The grades page will appear and display your course grade.

- The main issue is typically old temporary Internet files. If problems occur when accessing the course clear the old files first. Directions are available:
