Voice Mail: Your 24/7 Campus Messaging Companion

Staying connected has never been easier. Voice Mail, a powerful voice‑processing system, gives authorized subscribers the ability to record, send, and receive voice messages from any touch‑tone telephone—anytime, day or night. Whether you're on campus, off campus, or simply away from your desk, Voice Mail ensures you never miss an important message.

When callers reach you during a busy moment or while you’re away, they can be automatically routed to your Voice Mail box. Your personal greeting will play, and callers can leave a message for you to retrieve at your convenience.

Making the Most of Voice Mail When Leaving a Message

When you’re routed to someone’s Voice Mail box, a few simple tools can help you communicate clearly and efficiently.

Leave a Message with Ease

Skip the personal greeting: Press E (the 3 key) as soon as the greeting begins to jump straight into record mode. Voice Mail will play a tone to signal that recording can begin.

Review or revise your message:

  • Press R (7) to review your recording.
  • Press D (3) to delete and start over.
  • Press A (2) to append additional thoughts.

Deliver your message: When satisfied, simply hang up. Your message will be delivered to the subscriber’s mailbox.

Hanging Up Without Leaving a Message

If you decide not to leave a message, just hang up before the greeting ends. Already in record mode? Press 3, then hang up immediately to avoid leaving a blank message.
