1. To download Mathematica 15.0, go to the Mathematica download service and click on the appropriate link for your user type.
2. If you do not have an account, now is the time to create one:
- Go to user.wolfram.com and click “Create Account.”
- Fill out form using an @msstate.edu email and click “Create Wolfram ID.”
- Check your email and click the link to validate your Wolfram ID
3. Request the download and Activation key:
- Fill out this form to request an Activation Key.
- Click the My Products tab to access your license.
- Click Wolfram Mathematica.
4. Click to download Desktop app + local documentation. Take note of the activation key.
5. The Wolfram_15.exe file will download to your File Explorer. In your Downloads folder, double-click on this file when you are ready to install.
6. Click Next.
7. Allow the software to download.
8. Click Launch.
9. Allow the Software documentation to install.
10. Wolfram Mathematica Setup will begin. Click Next.
11. The Destination Location can be the default folder. Click Next.
12. Select Components - Select Install all components. Click Next.
13. Start Menu Folder, leave as default. Click Next.
14. Ready to Install. Click Install.
15. Mathematica will install.
16. Select Yes, restart the computer now then click Finish.
17. Once your computer has restarted, launch the Wolfram application. After launching, the Product Activation window will display. Click Other ways to activate.
18. Click "Activate online by entering an activation key."
19. Enter the Activation Key obtained in Step 4 then click Activate. There will be a window stating that activation was successful.
20. Read the License Agreement. Check "I accept the terms of this agreement" and then click "OK."
21. You have successfully installed Mathematica 15.0.
